History: Cosmo India
Cosmo India (P) Ltd. was founded in 1996 by its Managing Director Mr. Atul Mukhi, with a goal to become the largest manufacturer of Wheel Balancing Weights in India. The journey started by becoming a vendor of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (then MUL) and has continued to grow upwards ever since. The business expanded over the years by partnering with TATA Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra. The company was bootstrapped in 1996 and remains the same even today. Over 27 years of experience in developing and manufacturing of the parts and our elite customer base is a testimony to our quality standards and competitive pricing.
Cosmo India had pioneered the effort to bring fully automatic & computer-controlled pressure die casting techniques to India in 1996, which ensured a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in manufacturing of Lead Wheel Balance Weights. The company that started with a 2-machine setup and a team of 3 now runs a facility with over 40 machines, out of which 8 are fully automatic and 24 are semi-automatic. The team has now expanded to highly competent 20 managers and a workforce of over 100 employees.
